Trient group intending to join others in the cooperation with Quality Salmon

Quality Salmon, the 100,000-metric-ton land-based salmon project based in Sweden, has signed a collaboration agreement with Norwegian firm Trient on processing.

The Trient group currently process and sells about 60,000 mt of salmon products per year from its factories in Norway and Denmark. “When the company starts production in Quality Salmon Sotenäs’ industrial park in a couple of years, it will be both the single largest tenant and the largest employer,” said Quality Salmon.

The Quality Salmon Sotenäs’ industrial park is expected to be home to many relevant aquaculture and logistics firms — green energy firm Vattenfall Network Solutions, Siemens, and car manufacturer Volvo are signed up already.
